PRODUCT Description
A colorless liquid, provides excellent protection from rainwater for exposed concrete surfaces and structures, and various types of natural and industrial stone.

1- Preparation of substrate :
- The surface must be free of all kinds of residues (cement, paint, dust, oily materials ... etc.) so that it allows to AKRE STONE 2090 to penetrate the surface deeply.
- For old surfaces, it is sufficient to wash them with cold water, but if there are oily substances or grease, hot water, and steam are used to remove them more effectively.
- When there is no surface dirt, a brush or compressed air can be used to remove dust.
2- Application
We put an appropriate amount of AKRE STONE 2090 liquid in a bowl and spread it on the surface using a brush or roll in several layers until the surface becomes saturated. The layers should be spread sequentially, so we spread the new layer before drying the first one. The consumption rate is heavily influenced by the absorbency of the substrate and varies approximately from ( 0.20 -1 kg/m2 )
Listed below are several materials with their typical consumption rates:

The use of AKRE STONE 2090 is not suitable for waterproofing in the following cases:
- Horizontal surfaces (terraces) and gypsum surfaces.
- Water tanks, wells and areas subject to water pressure.
- Synthetic plasters and surfaces decorated with industrial paint.
- Perform a preliminary test to ensure that there are no changes in color to the substrate when AKRE STONE 2090 is applied to natural stones or other substrates that do not show uniform absorption.
Cleaning: :
- Clean equipment and hands with direct water
- Clean the surface of the stuck material after installation with a wet cloth.
Storage:
- Storage in relatively dry warehouses away from humidity and direct sunlight.
- Shelf life 12 months in appropriate conditions.
Packaging:
- Plastic gallon: 20 kg.
- Plastic gallon: 5 kg.
Certificate of quality :
AKRE STONE 2090 is considered class 111 according to EN 1062-3 standards with a value of W24 < 0.1, which corresponds with low water absorption.
Safety recommendations:
AKRE STONE 2090 is a chemical compound containing substances that cause eye irritation and skin sensitivity so the following safety instructions must be adhered to:
- Wear gloves and goggles while working.
- Wear masks to protect respiratory health.
- Any scratch on the skin or eyes should be treated with pure water immediately.
- If the substance is ingested by mistake, a doctor must be checked immediately without attempting to stimulate vomiting.
