PRODUCT Description

Cement-based compound for filling ceramic joint, porcelain, marble, natural stone, and granite used for floors and walls for /1-6 mm/It has a smooth finished surface, good abrasion resistance, and little shrinkage, therefore an absence of cracks and fissures.

Cement Adhesives
  • Fill the joints between all types and sizes of ceramic, porcelain, granite, mosaic, and natural stone so that the joints range between (1-6 mm).
  • It is used internally and externally for floors and walls in humidity-prone areas such as bathrooms, facades, and surfaces that are constantly exposed to dirt such as kitchens.
  • Less affected by dirt and keeps its color and easy to clean.
  • Resistant to water absorption and not affected by weather conditions.
  • Provides a smooth surface after use.
  • Low shrinking and therefore no cracks and fissures.
  • High corrosion resistance.
  • Available in beige color and can be provided in up to 32 colors upon request.

1- surface Processing :

    • The joints must be clean, dry, and solid.
    • Joints must be free of foreign substances such as dust, dirt, and cement residue... etc.
    • The joints must be cleaned from the adhesive's residues before hardening.
    • Hydrate the joints with clean water when using porous ceramic at high temperatures and having wind.

2- Application

  • Mixing:

Add AKRE GROUT 300 to the amount of clean water in the mixing bowl (30-35% water ratio) then mix using a low-speed mechanical mixer, quietly and for 2 minutes until we reach a homogeneous mixture, free of clusters, let the mixture rest for 2 minutes, then re-mix for (30-60 sec), and the mixture is ready to apply. It is preferable to use AKRE GROUT 300 modified by AKRE BOND (SBR) at a ratio (1 liter AKRE BOND (SBR) per 10 kg AKRE GROUT 300 and an appropriate amount of water)

  • Spreading :

AKRE GROUT 300 to fill the joints using a suitable trowel and make sure the joints are completely filled and then remove the residue of the mortar from the tile surface. The mortar loses part of its water after interacting with the surface and its shape becomes dimmer, usually, after 10-20 minutes we clean the surface of the mortar using a wet sponge and a circular motion, this period may be shorter when working under direct sunlight or wind because the mortar dries out faster. In case of cleaning before this time or the sponge is very wet, we will notice a change in color. The sponge should be cleaned frequently and the water used should always be clean so that the surface of the tiles is not dumped. The mortar should be used within one hour. Each 1 kg covers 28 longitudinal meters of joints with 3 mm depth and 4 mm width, and this quantity varies according to application conditions and surface properties.

Post-application recommendation:

  • Disposal of the product if the period of use exceeds.
  • If applied in extremely hot areas, drought and severe winds are recommended to hydrate the joints after several hours of application to ensure an excellent final result.

Cleaning: :

  • Clean equipment and hands with direct water
  • Clean the surface of the stuck material after installation with a wet cloth.

Storage:

  • Storage in relatively dry warehouses away from humidity and direct sunlight.
  • No more than 10 bags should be placed on top of each other during storage.
  • Shelf life 12 months in appropriate conditions.

Packaging:

  • Multi-ply paper bag 20 kg.

Safety recommendations:
