PRODUCT Description
A coarse-based compound for the installation of ceramic over ceramic, and the installation of ceramic over gypsum, wood, and cement panels and used as a coarse on smooth concrete surfaces before the work of plastering and also used as a foundation with high bonding strength and flexibility on plates (X.P.S) and (E.P.S) with very high effectiveness in preventing water absorption.
- It is used to install ceramics on pre-existing ceramics.
- It is used as a coarse basis for the installation of ceramics on all soft and smooth surfaces (sandstone - marble - gypsum and wood... etc.).
- It is used as a foundation that provides high bonding strength and high flexibility on insulation boards (XPS - EPS).
- It forms a coarse base above smooth surfaces so that the surface becomes rough before installation, which increases the strength and effectiveness of adhesion.
- Supports and reinforces the surfaces and thus increases the effectiveness of adhesion on weak surfaces.
- Easy to use so it can be applied using a roller or brush.
- Solvent-free and environmentally harmless.
- The time required for drying is between 45-60 minutes.
1- Preparation of substrate :
- The surface must be solid and free of the residue of all kinds (cement, coating, oil materials, dust, etc...) It must be completely dry.
- The surface should be free from cracks and fissures so it is preferred to be repaired using AKRE REPAIR 720.
2- Spreading
Mix the mixture a little before spreading while avoiding adding water to maintain the same texture,then spread on the surface easily using a roller or brush.
Post-application recommendation:
- Do not install on top of AKRE PRIMER 2054 before the drying time (24 hours at least)
- AKRE PRIMER 2054 should not be used on surfaces exposed to permanent or constantly submerged moisture.
Cleaning: :
- Clean equipment and hands with direct water.
- Clean the surface of the stuck material after installation with a wet cloth.
Storage:
- Storage in relatively dry warehouses away from humidity and direct sunlight.
- Shelf life 12 months in appropriate conditions.

AKRE PRIMER 2054is a cement chemical compound containing substances that cause eye irritation and skin sensitivity so the following safety instructions must be adhered to:
- Wear gloves and goggles while working.
- Wear masks to protect respiratory health.
- Any scratch on the skin or eyes should be treated with pure water immediately.
- If the substance is ingested by mistake, a doctor must be checked immediately without attempting to stimulate vomiting.
